What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to member and provider inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, claims status, and accessing care
- Provide first call resolution and accurate information to facilitate appropriate resolutions
- Document inquiries, complaints, and other relevant data in a computer database
- Support members during the Medicare Annual Election Period, including variable shifts and weekend hours
- Meet attendance and call quality standards while performing all job functions with accuracy and attention to detail
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three (3) years of call center experience, preferably in insurance, managed care, or a provider setting
- Experience with state and federal programs, including Washington Apple Health and Medicare Advantage Plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including typing proficiency
- Ability to use MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Familiarity with claims processing and related systems
- Previous experience in customer service or member support roles within healthcare
- Skills in gathering and assessing information from multiple systems
