• Builds good customer relationships by efficiently answering customer queries relating to orders, invoices, product information, delivery or technical matters.
• Increases individual sales orders by providing detailed technical information and calculations and recommendations for product requirements
• Increases sales and reduces stockholding by communicating requirements of non-UK manufactured items to Supply Chain Manager and Plant Buyer, to ensure material is shipped to Oldham in time to meet customer requirements.
• Maintains margin accuracy by ensuring that standard and/or inter-company costs have been established for all new products.
• Ensures European margin consistency for all orders and credits in line with the ‘Gross to net’ policy.
• Increases sales revenue by actively recommending accessories or alternatives on order receipt.
• Arranges and distributes details for Application Training Courses and ‘approved installers’ information.
• Reduces Transport costs by ensuring vehicles are fully utilised, co-ordinating customer requirements with vehicle routes and increasing customer sales where possible.
• Ensures accuracy of invoicing by implementing, monitoring and logging project support on computer databases.

Who You Are

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Minimum of 2 years within a Customer Service role
• Minimum 3-5 years experience within Manufacturing
• Strong communications skills
• IT Literate - Microsoft Office, SAp
