What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels and ensuring safety
- Prepare rental invoices and manage the return of rental equipment
- Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University to enhance knowledge and skills

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks and discomforts
- Ability to use protective clothing or gear as necessary

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous customer service experience in a retail or service environment
- Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance practices
- Certification in forklift operation (offered through U-Haul upon employment)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs
