What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate a multi-line, computerized phone system and radio communication equipment
- Navigate multiple screens and software programs while documenting all communications
- Promptly answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming requests for service
- Develop familiarity with service areas and medical facilities to assist callers effectively
- Manage difficult interactions professionally and direct the flow of conversation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous multi-line telephone experience or prior EMS experience
- Ability to type a minimum of forty (40+) words per minute
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous work experience as an EMS Dispatcher or Communications Technician
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
