What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and billing transactions according to established policies and procedures
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of information
- Maintain detailed policy documentation and update customer information as necessary
- Perform pre-underwriting tasks for policy transactions based on company processing procedures and underwriting guidelines
- Maintain acceptable productivity and quality levels established by management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent insurance training
- Must be licensed to sell property and casualty insurance and reside in CT, NY, VA, or NC
- Previous experience in property and casualty insurance is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, particularly in phone-based interactions
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and work collaboratively with various functions within the company

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in an insurance agency or company setting
- Familiarity with pre-underwriting processes and various insurance reports
- Additional insurance certifications or designations
