What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and billing transactions according to established policies
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing
- Maintain detailed policy documentation and update customer information as needed
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations while coordinating with various company functions
- Perform pre-underwriting tasks for policy transactions based on company guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a valid license to sell P&C insurance and reside in CT, NY, VA, or NC
- Education: Associate's Degree preferred or other insurance training
- Prior experience in property and casualty insurance is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a phone-based environment
- Ability to maintain acceptable productivity and quality levels as established by management

- Experience in an insurance agency or company setting
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and procedures
- Previous experience in customer service roles
- Additional insurance certifications or designations
