What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a direct liaison between customers, sales representatives, and various departments, assisting with order processing and customer inquiries
- Process orders received via fax, EDI, email, and phone while verifying pricing and shipping dates
- Communicate proactively with production and warehouse teams to prevent customer shortages and track order fulfillment
- Resolve customer complaints and billing issues by coordinating with the appropriate departments
- Assist the sales department in growing customer business through effective communication and organization

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in grocery, food, or retail channels
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with EDI transaction sets
- Experience working within Sage X3 or similar ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving, research, and time management skills
- Proven ability to multitask and work independently or in a team setting
