What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer a minimum of 10 calls from patients, resolving moderate to complex issues
- Schedule and verify appointments in the clinical information system
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Process expedited patient complaints and medication refills
- Proactively respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and internal medical personnel

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Customer service experience in a call center and/or office environment
- Experience with computers in a Windows-based environment
- Strong listening, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Training in a medical office or customer service-related field
- Knowledge of insurance products and medical terminology
- Expanded knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and proper telephone etiquette
