- Associate's Degree or 3-5 years experience Customer Service Experience, Financial Industry Experience, Revenue Cycle Experience, Medical Insurance Billing

Overview
The Customer Service Specialist serves as the analytical support to the Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service Manager by reviewing, handling and responding to requests received from guarantors and/or vendors acting on behalf of Children's Mercy. This position is responsible for identifying and escalating trends in billing or process errors to mitigate guarantor concerns. The incumbent also serves financial advocate for patients and families to navigate, de-escalate and resolve any escalated questions and/or concerns related to their billing or Revenue Cycle experience.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.66/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
