What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current products and services offered by the employer
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries
- Process orders and verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and documentation accuracy
- Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and provide problem-solving support
- Document all call information and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience
- Ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems for documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a Medicare-certified environment
