      The Customer Success Executive (CSE) Direct - Field role is a position that will execute on specific, defined objectives to exceed customer expectations and augment primary selling activities in the areas of account adoption, retention, and expansion. Provides customer contact in an assigned territory necessary to achieve retention and revenue expansion as measure by expanded use of the FedEx portfolio, including digital solutions. The CSE role will conduct ongoing customer post-sale performance analysis and link appropriate resources to address evolving customer needs. The CSE role will support FedEx Field Sales customers, and be measured on customer growth, expansion, and retention targets. Accountabilities and Tasks: Drive customer and revenue retention by identifying opportunities to implement digital solutions that allow the customer to independently manage their business with FedEx to increase loyalty. Leverage data to understand the customer’s business and supply chain to identify opportunities to eliminate friction points in the supply chain. Work with internal partners to develop and implement solutions . Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure the customer’s needs are met while creating a fact base to project manage root cause activity Monitors and takes appropriate action to drive customer expansion Utilization of a CRM such as Salesforce.com Contributes to customer adoption of the FedEx portfolio as well as tools and technologies Demonstrate integrity, initiative, organization, discipline and adaptability while working in a dynamic selling environment Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/equivalent or four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience or two (2) years of FedEx business-to-business sales experience required. Ability to travel overnight as required. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and manage conflicts. Excellent presentation skills (written and oral) and ability to articulate ideas in all forms of communication with exceptional storytelling Experience and comfort presenting complex concepts to stakeholders, including executive leadership Strong critical thinking and strategic thinking abilities Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities. Work Location: Positions will be hybrid in New York, NY, and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise. Some travel may be required as needed.
