What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze digital evidence and investigate computer security incidents to support vulnerability mitigation
- Conduct deep-dive investigations on computer-based crimes and establish physical or documentary evidence
- Create forensically sound duplicates of evidence for data recovery and analysis
- Ensure adherence to chain of custody protocols for all digital media
- Perform dynamic and static analysis of digital evidence to extract relevant information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current DOE Q or DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Associate's degree in a technical field with 10 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years, or Master's degree with 2 years of related experience
- Familiarity with specialized equipment and techniques for cataloging and preserving digital evidence
- Extensive knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response methodologies
- Skill in using forensic tool suites and conducting analyses in multiple operating system environments

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in digital forensics or related fields
- Experience with malware analysis tools and techniques
- Knowledge of hacking methodologies and anti-forensics tactics
- Familiarity with reverse engineering concepts and legal governance related to admissibility
- Advanced skills in analyzing volatile data and conducting packet-level analysis
