What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide reverse engineering, intrusion analysis, and vulnerability assessments
- Conduct imaging on a variety of devices, including hard disk drives and mobile devices
- Perform forensic examinations to identify the root cause of cyber incidents and recommend remediation steps
- Provide technical reporting to explain complex forensic examinations to a wide audience
- Interact with and establish relationships with customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in digital forensics investigations, malware analysis, or cyber incident response investigations
- Experience using forensic tools, such as Xways, Axiom, FTK, or similar
- Experience conducting forensics analysis of operating systems, such as Windows, Linux/Unix, Android, MAC, or IOS
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or relevant technical field; or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of industry best practices to preserve evidence integrity
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of data carving tools/techniques
- Skill in analyzing volatile data
- Experience in acquiring volatile data
- Ability to develop forensic tools in Python, C#, C++, or C
- Experience with analyzing malicious data
