What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to Cyber Security incidents and provide threat analysis and reporting
- Actively monitor security threats and risks, conducting in-depth incident analyses
- Develop procedures and policies for the establishment and management of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Support Tier 2 operations by monitoring alerts during critical events
- Perform intrusion scope and root cause analyses, assisting with remediation and strategy development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of related experience on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), or Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security
- One or more relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Penetration Testing Engineer, or Certified Ethical Hacker
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident/Green Card holder and have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Sentinel One, Armis, or SNA
- Previous involvement in incident response team roles
- Advanced knowledge of threat research and proactive security measures
