- Contribute to a more secure environment for Nordstrom
- Get hands on experience working alongside seasoned members of our security teams
- Be exposed to a wide variety of technologies
- Work on real-world projects with milestones, deliverables and deadlines
- Help administer Security Policy across multiple technologies
- Assist in applying Security requirements to support business outcomes
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls
- Automate new and existing security tools and processes
- Work side by side with security engineers performing penetration tests across our environment
- Research and explain risks with real-world threats
- Assist with data loss prevention and store recording technologies
- Are a passionate, curious and innovative student currently working towards a security-focused degree or related field
- Build software and systems, with a focus on building self-service platforms for internal teams
- Have exposure to security tools and/or programming/scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment thanks to your curiosity, organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
- Have Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing
- Have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization
- Experience working in a metrics driven environment is a plus
- Prior experience working with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Seattle, WA: $44.25/hr This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
