How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

This is an entry level position on the Cyber Security team. The position will work with the broader team to aid in the identification, configuration, and implementation of a variety of Cyber Security initiatives within the organization. Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, network, databases, and Web for potential system breaches / intrusions. This role requires the individual to have the aptitude to learn and to participate in the provision of customer service for internal and external customers regarding the company's security initiatives, incident response, and support.

• Assist engineers with vulnerability, risk, and threat analysis
• Assist tier 1 support in monitoring detection systems
• Review and analyze logs from a variety of sources
• Actively participate in incident response activities
• Assist in security audits and surveys and aid in consulting services
• Participates in the maintenance of security tools and technologies
• Participate in day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Information Security team

What We Require:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Entry level position no experience required Experience with scripting, i.e., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, etc.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Ability to obtain your ISC2 SSCP and/or CySA+ within one year of hire date.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Familiarity/comfort level working with IT Security software and hardware. Knowledge of and experience in information security and monitoring systems. Strong writing / documentation skills. Highly organized. Effective communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, while having good judgment as to when consultation is required. Ability to work on multiple projects and perform well under deadlines. Enthusiastic, flexible, willing to pitch in where needed. Strong drive to learn and grow in the cyber security field.
