What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security threats affecting the organization’s computer systems and networks
- Develop security policies and procedures to enhance organizational security
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Utilize security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Provide on-call availability for incident response and travel between locations as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- Experience with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architecture
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools such as Splunk or LogRhythm

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and database security
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
