What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain security architectures, automation, and tools to protect systems at multiple levels (cloud, infrastructure, platform, application)
- Develop, document, and enforce security standards, practices, and policies
- Perform regular security risk assessments, scans, penetration testing audits, and monitoring
- Monitor security systems and logs for threats and anomalies, responding to incidents and conducting forensic investigations
- Ensure compliance with industry and DoD regulations, standards, and guides while developing and maintaining security documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 15 years of combined experience in defensive/offensive cybersecurity, information assurance, penetration testing, software engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, zero-trust, and availability
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and defending against known attack vectors
- Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and vulnerability scanners
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience automating cybersecurity tools within CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and guides (e.g., RMF, NIST, CIS, STIGs, FIPS)
- Understanding of EMASS and its applications
