What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Office of Information Security in developing and maintaining policy frameworks and procedures
- Research and analyze policy language in alignment with NIST and federal mandates
- Conduct reviews of policy documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the development of new policies to address existing gaps in the framework
- Facilitate policy and risk-related discussions, recording action items and meeting logistics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in cybersecurity or IT policy documentation
- Understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) version 2.0
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and relevant federal information security policies and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant certifications such as Security+ or CISSP
- Experience developing in Confluence
