      D30 is a key strategic initiative to simplify, digitise and automate Mars Snacking in service of delivering our "30 by 2030" ambition. Plan To deliver is a key process within D30, accounting for 60% of the total value creation opportunity.

      The "Market Execution Plan" and "Deployment Orchestration" domains ( together referred to as "strategic deployment" or "SD") are critical components of Plan To Deliver within D30, covering the key elements of how Mars Snacking regions and markets allocate resources to deliver the required business outcomes and track/course correct execution across all time horizons. The scope of the role covers the development of channel/ customer priorities via segmentation, development of customer engagement plans and point of purchase targets, and the creation of on overall resource plan. The scope also covers the future signature processes for strategic governance and deployment; Strategic Review, S&OP and S&OE. The role will lead the detailed design and deployment of the future state process, digital core, organisation and mindsets & behaviours for these domains within the Plan To Deliver megaprocess. The role will ensure seamless Integration between these domains and the remainder of Plan To Deliver and, where appropriate, the wider D30 design in order to deliver the relevant components of the value case.

      The role will provide thought leadership, scope control and guidance to associates from across the regions who participate in the detailed design process, ensuring that the D30 goal of >85% process standardisation is achieved whilst respecting any necessary variances due to archetypes. In addition, the role will act as an interface between the D30 team and other relevant megaprocesses.

      Beyond design, the role will partner with key stakeholders and deployment teams across all regions to successfully deploy the "to be" endstate, considering the change journey for associates, interdependencies and sequencing with the other elements of D30 and value delivery.

      This job will ensure the full integration of sustainability into core business processes to ensure all relevant business processes are accountable for delivering ESG value, facilitating business transformation, and embedding non-financial data where applicable to drive sustainability goals and imperatives.

      Education & Professional Qualifications

      • Bachelors' degree minimum
      • MBA a plus

      Knowledge / Experience

      • Experience in defining and operationalizing future-back vision
      • Adept at understanding and shaping business data and systems
      • Experienced at building networked teams of direct reports, external consultants, and collaborators across a diverse, global enterprise
      • Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization, ideally in a large multi-national setting
      • Adept at leading through influence, collaborating, and managing conflicting needs across diverse stakeholders
      • Familiarity with Mars Snacking’s strategy and current high-level business processes or enterprise process awareness from previous experience
      • Experience working with and influencing senior leadership with clear and compelling communications that simply summarize complex situations and cut through to root cause problems to propose solutions.

      What will be your key responsibilities?

      • Vision Alignment - Align the SD end state design to the future vision for Plan To Deliver and D30

        Plan Creation - Working in partnership with the regions and D30 team Build and sequence a fully Integrated plan for SD designing/deploying the signature elements ( L5 process, digital core/data, organisation, mindsets and behaviours ), influencing and informing adjacent plans and roadmaps to drive alignment, adoption, and synergies and incorporating the below elements:

        Experience ownership for key stakeholders across P2D and D30

      • Identify process elements and big bets critical to delivering on “experience promise” for Associates
      • Align with GXO, regions and peers across P2D on delivery timetable across process, digital core and organisation
      • Design for and consider change journey for key stakeholder groups In order to drive engagement
      • Develop and deploy robust, objective metrics to consistently measure reality Vs intent on experience
      • Shaping and delivery of relevant big bets

      • Land the scope and value case, leveraging appropriate internal and external best practice
      • Align on resources and ways of working (within and outside D30) to secure optimum business benefit
      • Contract and align with D30 team & regions on delivery sequencing, value creation tracking and ongoing stewardship
      • Accountability for Future Back Process Design & deployment to L5, with accompanying digital core design

      • Create, Lead and facilitate multiple regional SME networks to design global process standard for Make
      • Drive the D30 ambition of 80-90% process standardisation, whilst respecting regional archetypes
      • Partnering DT to ensure digital core design and integration, leveraging agile WoW
      • Integration & Handoffs to other relevant processes and teams inside and outside D30

      • Own process and digital core connectivity between SD to the remainder of P2D
      • On behalf of P2D, lead the Interface with the Insight to Plan megaprocess
      • Own the WoW interface with the Networked & Learning multiplier to maximise shared value creation
      • Regional engagement

      • Ownership for relationship between P2D and a specific region (TBC) , facilitating optimal overall WoW business case delivery
      • Sustainability

      • Fully Integrate and embed sustainability mandatories into Make process and big bet scoping, design and deployment working in partnership with the D30 sustainability leader.
      • Value Creation - Deliver the identified value creation opportunities for SD , and support the realisation of other opportunities across D30 where appropriate. Working with central D30 resources, provide visibility of quick wins and path to full realisation

        Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and deploy an approach to engage the leadership of D30, SD and P2D sponsors, broader Mars, Inc and selected external partners on the journey, ensuring they can understand, actively sponsor, and champion progress

        Continuous Improvement - Stay informed on relevant trends to inform strategic direction and establish methodology to continuously evolve towards leading practices across D30 processes.
