What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to social media content and management, including creating unique social media posts
- Write and edit press releases and original articles, approximately 1-3 per month
- Create and send marketing emails and quarterly newsletters using Eloqua
- Assist with event planning and provide communications coverage at events and tradeshows
- Manage the Hub website and create public presentations for diverse audiences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field
- Currently pursuing a master's or PhD in Life Sciences Communications, Journalism, Communication Studies, or a related field
- Excellent written communication skills with experience in various writing formats
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with animal agriculture and scientific research is desirable

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with WordPress, CRM databases, and design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Adobe Express)
- Ability to create long and short-form video content
- Experience in event planning and outreach activities
