What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support agile software development for dashboard visualizations
- Conduct requirements sessions, create work estimations, design, code, and test dashboards
- Translate complex user challenges into technical requirements and collaborate with teams to implement solutions
- Utilize Python and SQL for queries and perform statistical analysis within Databricks
- Create data models integrating multiple data sources for accurate data representation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization software such as Tableau/PowerBI
- 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and Python scripts
- Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholders in government systems
- Familiarity with data engineering, data architecture, ETL methodology, and data automation principles
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Front-end development experience
- Proficiency in additional Data Science and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Qlik)
- Experience in User Experience/Interface Design and Data & Systems Engineering (e.g., Databricks)
- Proven ability to lead technical reviews with clients and stakeholders
