Job Description

In cooperation with the Real Estate Director of Policy and Data, determine the types of data to be collected from IHCDA programs and various public sources.
In cooperation with department directors and managers, collect specified data on each program.
Generate reports as directed by the Real Estate Director of Policy and Data and the executive team.
Identify and track IHCDA program trends and outcomes.
Create appropriate graphs and charts for public presentation and reporting.
Maintain historical data and statistics pertinent to IHCDA’s programs and goals.
Assist with daily reports for the purposes of quality assurance and troubleshooting.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining the Indiana Housing Dashboard.
Maintain, monitor, and update data, reports, maps, and links.
Conduct quality control reviews of the website to identify incorrect, outdated, or inconsistent information.
Identify methods to increase transparency and usefulness of information provided on the website.
Work with the Marketing and Communications division to implement and update website changes.
Take the lead role in gathering data and content for IHCDA’s annual report.
Create the first draft of the annual report and share it with the Director of Policy and Data, executive staff, and Marketing and Communications team members for input and feedback.
Release the final annual report by the established deadline.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
Experience with data analysis and reporting techniques is preferred, e.g., with platforms such as R Studio, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate strong presentation skills. Can facilitate both large and small group presentations.
Demonstrate customer service orientation.
Demonstrate a commitment to problem solving and a focus on being solutions oriented.
Ablity to think logically and analytically.
Proactive in anticipating and alerting others to problems with projects or processes.

Proficient in basic computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet usage, and e-mail.
Proficient in basic mathematics.
Strong understanding of data gathering, analysis techniques, and statistical methods.
Ability to create graphs, pivot tables, and maps in various platforms, especially in Excel.
Ability to communicate complex data to those without industry specific background.
Ability to handle multiple requests and meet multiple deadlines.

Role Overview :The Data Analyst contributes to fulfilling the IHCDA’s mission and strategic, operational and program goals by collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing internal and external data to provide reports to the Real Estate Director of Policy and Data and the executive team. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week.
