PURPOSE :

As a Quality/Continuous Improvement Intern with JBT Automated Systems, you will support the Leadership Team and others with Relentless Continuous Improvement (RCI) Projects and activities which might include:

POSITION RESONSIBIITIES

• Primary support resource for bringing online and ongoing support for the daily and/or routine JBT RCI SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) process and supporting tools across AGV business.
• Primary support resource for bringing online and ongoing support of targeted Pacing, Business, Site-Level and other boards across AGV business.
• Support resource for bringing on line 6S across the AGV business.
• Kaizen, A3, and other RCI Event Support
• Improvement Tracking
• Rewards / Recognition Program Development & Administration
• RCI Training Support
• Ongoing QMS & ISO 9001 Support
• Financial / Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting development, analysis & support
• Miscellaneous Relentless Continuous Improvement (RCI) initiatives
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) with at least a junior level status
• Strong MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Energetic and able to multi-task
• Self-Motivated with the ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Well organized
• Enjoys working collaboratively.
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices a plus
  • Kanban, FMDS/SQDC, 5S/6S, A3, etc.
