Job Description

- Gain an understanding of Huntsman School Data available in Argos and Salesforce and develop data vitalization requested by the Huntsman School Units including Dean’s Office Marketing, Undergraduate Recruiting, Huntsman Scholars Program, Dean’s Office, etc.
- Analyzes, interprets, summarizes data for Huntsman School of Business and presents to Leadership.
- Develops documentation of how data is collected and summarized for reports developed.
- Manage data collection processes including Huntsman School post-graduation placement, internships completed, and other projects as requested.
- Work with the Salesforce Admin to clean data in Salesforce using Duplicate Check and other means.
- Assist in managing Signal Vine groups and lists at direction of Salesforce Admin.
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and cooperative attitude while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
- Develop/update documentation and training resources for all areas of responsibility
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- This position will be hired as either a Data Analyst I or Data Analyst II depending on qualifications and duties assigned:
- For a Data Analyst I: Bachelor’s degree in IT, data analysis, statistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- For a Data Analyst II: Bachelor’s degree in IT, data analysis, statistics plus two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Note: One year of education is equivalent to one year of experience for the combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Tableau and Tableau Prep.
- Experience in joining different data sets.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Strong aptitude for self-learning.
- Experience in data and statistical analysis.
- Competency with SQL.
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Experience with Argos
- Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Overview
As a Data Analyst at the Huntsman School of Business, you will create data visualizations, analyze, summarize and present data, and manage data collection processes using Argos and Salesforce. You will document data processes, clean Salesforce data, and assist with Signal Vine management. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, data analysis, or statistics, with advanced skills in Tableau, Excel, and SQL.
