Role: Data Analyst ( Power BI / Tableau with Python)

• Perform root-cause analysis and data discovery to surface what matters most.
• Develop performance metrics/KPI's, reports and dashboards/visualizations that highlight relevant trends, patterns, and areas of importance.
• Derive a data story or narrative behind the numbers and interpret trends/patterns.
• Help the team in meeting ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Use data, experiments, and statistical inference to measure UX improvements.
• Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Lead and mentor junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities and initiatives.
• Ensure data governance and data quality standards are maintained across all projects.
• Develop and implement advanced analytical models to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage and optimize data infrastructure and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Academic background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Physics, or a relevant degree.
• Proficiency with 1+ programming languages (e.g., R or Python) in addition to SQL.
• Experience in cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing both structured and unstructured data.
• Proficient in machine learning methods.
• Broad knowledge of applied statistics and causal inference.
• Deep knowledge of web analytics.
• At least 5-7 years of relevant industry experience (increased from 2-3 years to reflect seniority).
• Intermediate to advanced Tableau/PowerBI experience.
• Proven track record of leading data-driven projects and delivering actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in data governance and ensuring data quality standards are maintained.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively, with a strategic mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.

• Advanced knowledge of data visualization best practices.

• Certification in data analytics or related fields.
