  We are looking for a Data Architect focusing on ERP, CRM, Field Service, Product Data to join our team in Metso Minerals Digital Data & AI team working for our Minerals, Services and Consumables Business Areas.

  Your location would be Tampere or Espoo in Finland. Also other Global Metso key locations can be considered.

  What you’ll do

  As a Data Architect for Business Data Enablement, you will:

  • Set the overall architecture how we unlock the usage of Enterprise data to our businesses needs.
  • Establish Data Governance –process and practice for business data. Collaborate in establishing governance with IT, Product Data Management and internal business functions in the first stage.
  • Create integrations from Enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, FSM, etc) to Data Platform through Metso data sharing services (APIs, Integration tools etc) to enable efficient Data Quality Monitoring and enforcing Data Quality enhancements. Make this data available to business stakeholders through the Data Platform.
  • Collaborate in creating an overall understanding of what is valuable data & information for Metso’s business enablement and support in creating tools and models for gathering this existing and new data for f.ex. Customer support through Generative AI, Equipment Parts, Services & Consumables business growth.
  • Collaborate in enabling the availability of Metso internal data for Internal Productivity Optimization use-cases.

  Who you are

  • You have skills and experience in analytics in an industrial domain. Main focus is on internal data (f.ex. Installed Base, Field Service, Sales, Sourcing, Supply Chain).
  • Capable of driving improvement on how we utilize internal data, including its collection to improve our business efficiency
  • Capable in creating an overall architecture, data management strategy and data governance including practices for monitoring and supporting businesses in understanding data quality and achieving a high level of data quality.
  • Capable in managing databases, ETL processes as well as having a touch with MLOps. We work with leading technologies (Snowflake, dbt, etc) so you’ll have the best toolkit in the marketplace as we continue developing it continuously.
  • We work with cloud (Azure), so you preferably have experience with some cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP).
  • You have an understanding of enterprise data and have worked with database / datawarehouse modeling of that enterprise data.
  • You are capable in database programming. This includes SQL as a basis, but also potentially other technologies as well.
