      Nemours is seeking a Data Center Analyst to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.

      This is a Hybrid position where the analyst works onsite two days per week.

      Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children’s Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 130-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region.       The Datacenter Analyst position will play a critical role in overseeing the Nemours Datacenters. This is an enterprise-wide role responsible for the daily operational management of the Nemours Datacenters and critical infrastructure components. This role will oversee and manage upgrades of Datacenter systems associated with systems and network infrastructure, power/electric, cooling and all other technologies utilized in the Nemours datacenters.

      This Analyst position will be engaged in the design and configuration of the Nemours Datacenters. Operational responsibilities include implementing controls for access and new equipment coordination (power, network, rack space). This role will partner with Nemours Facilities to ensure the datacenter environment is maintained and updated, including UPS management, power distribution within the data center, and HVAC. This person will ensure the security and surveillance of the datacenter areas.

      The Datacenter Analyst will often be involved at every phase of projects that have Datacenter implications. This position will have primary responsibility in ensuring the datacenter design is well engineered, operable, and maintainable, delivered on schedule and aligns to enterprise needs.

      • Analyze alerts and infrastructure systems to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.
      • Research problem information to proactively identify trends and potential sources of new problems and use this information to proactively address these issues to ensure that they do not repeat.
      • Monitor Datacenter performance across the enterprise and ensure stability.
      • Develop technology roadmaps for Datacenter systems.
      • Ensure sufficient Datacenter capacity for growth and implementation of new systems.
      • Keep skills and knowledge current on technology infrastructure, software and services for both Data Centers to help shape the technical direction.
      • Maintain documentation of functional requirements, specifications, standards, and operating procedures including schematic diagrams of each datacenter.
      • Assist with integration efforts with a variety of technology for clinical and/or business applications.
      • Work with vendors and IS teams to address infrastructure related issues for datacenter environments such as power, equipment, wiring, and overall capacity.
      • Partner with Nemours Physical Security team to manage security systems, controls, and physical access to the datacenters.

      Job Requirements

      • Bachelor's Degree required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
      • Minimum of five (5)+ years experience required.
      • Experience with installation, operation and troubleshooting of enterprise integrated computer networks, server integration within a data center environment, data center physical security, network security and data center technologies.
