Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure needed to manage large-scale data processing. You will ensure the seamless flow of data across the organization and support data and analytics initiatives by optimizing data systems and implementing complex data projects.

• Data Architecture & Pipeline Creation: Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure and DataBricks.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases using MS SQL Server, ensuring high performance and availability of database systems.
• Data Integration: Utilize Qlik Replicate for data integration and replication tasks to streamline data transfer and synchronization across platforms.
• Programming and Scripting: Employ Python and SQL for ETL processes, data cleaning, and data modeling tasks.
• Version Control: Modify and maintain code in GitHub, manage pull requests, and merge strategies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Implement data validation, debugging, and testing protocols to ensure integrity and accuracy of data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Languages: Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Data Platforms: Strong experience with Azure and DataBricks.
  • Database Systems: Proficiency in MS SQL Server.
  • Tools: Experience with Qlik Replicate and GitHub.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex data problems and creatively develop efficient solutions.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
