Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist with proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to join our dynamic home health team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating patient OASIS information into the Epic EMR system, ensuring the integrity and completeness of the data. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will have a strong background in data entry, familiarity with home health processes, and a high level of expertise in utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Key Responsibilities
Data Entry and Maintenance:
•Accurately enter patient demographics, OASIS recommendations, and other relevant information into the Epic EMR system.
•Update and maintain client turnaround time
•Ensure data accuracy and completeness

Epic EMR Utilization:
•Navigate and utilize the Epic EMR system proficiently to perform data entry tasks.
•Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Epic EMR data entry.
•Collaborate with IT support for system-related concerns.

Quality Assurance:
•Conduct regular audits of OASIS records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
•Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in OASIS reviews versus OASIS entries.

Communication:
•Collaborate with Team Manager, Scheduler, and other team members to ensure performance and processes are effective.
•Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to address data-related queries.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
•Follow established protocols and procedures for data entry and record maintenance.
•Stay updated on changes and updates to Epic EMR functionalities and incorporate them into daily tasks.

Qualifications:
•Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or home health setting.
•Willing to gain proficiency in using Epic EMR system is required.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
•Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
•Effective communication skills.

Education and Certification:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Must reside in United States

Working Conditions:
This is a remote position, and the candidate must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup. Regular communication and collaboration with team members and supervisors are essential.
