Support the analysis and submission of FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR reports to various constituencies (local regulators, FRB, OCC, FDIC etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
Produce analytics for variance and root cause on platform functionality build-out, data feeds, products, and processes.
Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls (MCA, ARA, ICR, E-DCFC/PCT, WAD, COB etc.), and executing strategic plans
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Instill operational discipline into existing team processes
Effective communication: cross-functional collaboration, presentations to Senior Management, issue resolution with Technology.
Ensuring high level of quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all assigned deliverables with minimal supervision.
Manage discussions and requirement gathering sessions, reaching consensus, and recommending solutions on tooling capability
Thoroughly research requirements, identify and define the test scenarios, and execute the testing as per the overall project implementation plan
Execute regression tests, which includes updating test cases when needed and adding new test cases based on new functionality
Record and track user stories and issues in JIRA
Produce detailed reports of all test findings
Create and maintain testing process documentation
Identify risks and outline clear mitigation strategies
Implement lessons learned/best practices and look to improve quality of the releases
Create and update documentation of tooling capability, processes, procedures, and training materials
Coordinate production issue resolution with the appropriate technical teams
Review, create, and adhere to team controls, processes, and framework
Generate and store regularly systemic reports to assist in future troubleshooting
Take on ad-hoc projects/requests as needed
Work as a team member and collaborate among various tasks
5-8 years of experience in Accounting Management with Commensurate People Management experience required
Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master in Business Administration (MBA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent combination of education required
Working knowledge of related financial regulations
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Financial Services preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required
Excellent analytical background and skill set to understand Regulatory Reporting guidelines, processes, including system data flows
Able to work with large volumes of data from different sources
Willingness to work flexible hours
Ability to multi-task, be proactive and goal oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple teams/functions
The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for reviewing the processes of driving the generation, analysis, and submission of FR 2052a report (including LCR and NSFR reports) to various constituencies based on requirements such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy, provide risk and controls for best practices. The position has responsibility for reviewing the governance FR 2052a related processes being compliant with current regulations, supported by documentation standards and with effective preventive and detective controls. The position will coordinate with multiple workstreams including FRSS Reporting Lead, GLM, GLRS Technology, Insight Technology, Treasury Transformation, GPSM and FRSS Partners across different regions to deliver results.
