- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the proposed platform meets compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform Architect to ensure proper data access, sharing, and management across the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data preparation, exploration, and visualization within the platform.
- Monitor and enforce data governance policies, including financial governance, PII data management, and secure data sharing
- Utilize Databricks for data processing, analytics, and governance activities.
- Facilitate client-facing discussions to understand their data governance needs and challenges.
- Conduct assessments of data quality and compliance with governance policies.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in data management and governance processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for data governance initiatives.
- Train and mentor team members on data governance principles and tools.
- Provide client-facing support, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Databricks.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data management and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
