What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement and configure Microsoft Purview for metadata management, lineage tracking, and classification
- Establish role-based access controls and data governance policies aligned with enterprise standards
- Support Validatar-based data quality monitoring and compliance reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance best practices
- Monitor and report on compliance with data privacy laws and retention policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 8 years of total work experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with Purview/metadata tools
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in data governance frameworks
- Hands-on experience setting up Microsoft Purview in Azure environments
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA) and data retention policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting Fabric/OneLake governance
- Familiarity with data quality monitoring tools and compliance reporting best practices
- Knowledge of additional data management platforms or frameworks
