The Wasserstrom Company is a national leader in the foodservice supply industry; established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have an opening for Data Management Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department.
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person. This position is responsible for providing analytical, data entry, and administrative support within and outside the department. This includes calculating, entering, and maintaining purchase cost data in the company's business operating systems. This position is also responsible for compiling and distributing reports, and performing some administrative duties. This role is an Entry Level position with no managerial tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure integrity of product and vendor data within the company's business operating systems.
• Collaborate effectively with Purchasing and Sales departments to guarantee the information most applicable to customers and vendors is being administered
• Make certain only the most accurate data is entered into the system by adequately researching all new products
• Compile clear and concise reports to keep data up-to-date with constantly changing business conditions
• Employ a systematic approach to identify and drive projects to streamline existing procedures
• Review of requests for new or modified items to ensure data is in line with current and ever-changing standards

Job Requirements

• Must have excellent analytical skills
• 1-2 years experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Excel required
• SAP business software experience preferred.
• The ability to think critically to continuously improve processes and data integrity is a must
• This position requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work closely with both internal and external contacts. Knowing how to successfully rank and prioritize tasks is crucial.
• Must have first-rate attention to detail, specifically the capacity to manipulate small pieces of data with accuracy and focus.
