      As a Computational Pathologist at IRM you will leverage computational techniques to analyze WSIs and pathology data, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and contribute to the development of innovative tools for pathology. The role involves collaborating with data scientists, and researchers to integrate computational methods into clinical workflows and research projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pathology, computational biology, and data analysis, with experience in AI and machine learning applications in healthcare.

      Job Responsibilities:

      Digital pathology expertise

      • Understand the concepts of Digital Pathology and the IRM solutions in this space
      • Understand the trends in the digital pathology domain globally
      • Understand the regulatory components of the solution and ensure the solution includes them.
      • Work closely with designers to create mockups and visualize the final product.
      • Understand Whole Slide Imaging and provide training to personnel where needed
      • Understand the pathology physical asset storage

      Technical Expertise:

      • Develop and apply computational algorithms to analyze pathology images, including whole slide imaging, and other data types.
      • Integrate multi-omics data (genomics, proteomics, etc.) with pathology data to enhance diagnostic precision and patient stratification.
      • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, biomarkers, and other clinically relevant features.
      • Design, train, and validate AI and machine learning models for research purposes,
      • Collaborate with data scientists to refine algorithms and ensure their applicability and accuracy.
      • Implement machine learning models into existing pathology workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

      Experience:

      • Prior Iron Mountain Internship Experience Preferred
      • Advanced Degree: preferably a PhD focus on Biomedical
      • Understanding of Machine Learning and AI techniques.
      • Hands-on programming experience
      • Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in English
      • PhD in Pathology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
      • Prior experience computational pathology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
      • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

      • Great attention to detail

      • Familiarity with agile development
