Pfizer has several groups that are focused in these areas and are expanding capabilities to address novel use cases in drug development and in clinical trials, e.g. in-patient recruitment, predicted drug response, selection of drug targets.

We are looking for students pursuing M.Sc or Ph.D. degree (preferred) in Data Science to do full time or part-time internship with our Data Sciences Team and gain experience working on multiple live projects starting in Jan 2024.

Project 1: Exploration of AI/ML multi-modal data fusion methods
Preferred Skills: Statistical variable selection, ML algorithms

Project 2: Developing a device-agnostic app for at-home data collection
Preferred Skills: Front end and back end development for mobile apps, connections using APIs

Project 3: Error detection using AI/ML technologies
Preferred Skills: Creating synthetic data, AI/ML algorithms

Duration of the internship: 6 months (Part time or Full time) and/or 3 months (full time)
Location: On-site in Chennai (minimum 60% attendance in Chennai required).
