What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform day-to-day DBA operations, including executing SQL scripts and resolving incident tickets related to database availability
- Participate in on-call rotation to address database alerts and notifications promptly
- Contribute to ongoing projects focused on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and technology updates
- Assist development and QA teams with deployment activities as per the runbook
- Support production and lower environment infrastructure 24/7 as part of the production support team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing SQL Server 2016 or newer, Amazon RDS, and Oracle 19c databases in AWS production environments
- Proven experience in managing SQL Server and Oracle as a DBA in a production environment
- Strong understanding of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle and SQL Server
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and experience supporting database servers on Linux and Windows operating systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with database performance tuning and HA/DR strategies for SQL Server
- Familiarity with Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Data Guard
- Professional Certifications in AWS, Azure, and Database technologies
- Experience in scripting/deployment languages such as PowerShell and Python
- Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies
