What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain data management systems, including installation, deployment, replication, and backup
- Optimize database performance through tuning file structures and managing indexes
- Analyze and tune queries, indexes, execution plans, and stored procedures for optimal performance
- Write and assist engineers in developing SQL queries to enhance efficiency
- Maintain documentation of data store systems, architectures, configurations, and operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
- 2-3 years experience running MSSQL data stores in AWS on EC2 and RDS/Aurora
- Advanced knowledge of performance monitoring, backup/restore, and query optimization
- Microsoft SQL Server certification is preferred
- Thorough understanding of relational database technology and SQL scripting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries
- Expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, and data batch processing
- Strong communication and documentation skills
