What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, optimizing queries, indexes, and storage structures
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity
- Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to optimize database-dependent applications

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration with SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell and Python
- Strong understanding of database security, encryption, and user access control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues in large-scale environments

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Microsoft Certified: MS SQL Server (latest) certification
- AWS Certified Database - Specialty certification
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Database Administrator certification
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB)
- Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Talend, Informatica) and data warehousing best practices
