What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide database administration, maintenance, and optimization support for various database systems, including AWS RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
- Develop and implement strategies for a more robust database-managed environment
- Perform troubleshooting and performance monitoring of Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and configuration issues in the database environment
- Test backup, recovery, and restoration plans for databases

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in database administration for Windows and Linux-based systems
- Proficiency with AWS RDS, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with installation, configuration, and migration of databases
- Ability to implement security patches and measures for database systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and related tools such as Golden Gate and Trustwave DBProtect
- Experience with coding in SQL, ASP, .NET, VB, and JAVA scripts
- Knowledge of database health checks and performance metrics
