      Your Next Career Opportunity – Database Developer I

      We are seeking an enthusiastic Database Developer I to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of SQL databases. Your primary responsibilities will include: supporting database applications and reports, providing assistance to developers, and contributing to the optimization and tuning of database queries. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in database development.

      What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

      • Collaborate with the development team to understand data requirements and assist in the development and maintenance of SQL databases.
      • Support database applications and reports while learning the fundamentals of database development.
      • Assist in the design and implementation of basic business processes using T-SQL, including the creation of stored procedures, views, and functions.
      • Participate in identifying and resolving database-related issues and contribute to the optimization of database performance.
      • Contribute to the development of proposed database solutions, including considerations for security, backup, and recovery.
      • Work with senior team members to enhance stored procedures and Transact-SQL queries.
      • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and software development tools.
      • Actively engage in educational opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
      • Begin to use SQL monitoring software and assist in ETL processes for production and test environments.
      • Gain experience in Application Lifecycle Management and assist in test-to-production deployments.
      • Focus on delivering excellent service, understanding the company's business, and responding to internal customer needs.
      • Other projects and duties as assigned.

      What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

        • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
          • and 1+ years of relevant experience in a database development role or related internship. • Prior exposure to database-related coursework or projects during education. • Demonstrated interest in database development and a willingness to learn. • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. • Previous experience in a similar role or internships related to database development would be advantageous.
        • Current technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, with a focus on database development.
        • Basic familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
        • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
        • Interest in gaining experience with other Microsoft products such as PowerBI, Dynamics, CRM, and SharePoint.
        • Other Any introductory or beginner-level certifications related to database development or SQL. Pref
