- Deliver instructor-led training to audiences of all sizes, pertaining to the customer experience, product positioning, menu selling, overcoming objections, and leasing. Provide additional coaching and training content to elevate dealer performance to a heightened level, thereby increasing Voluntary Protection Products (VPP) and retail/lease contract output.
- Communicate with impact to all audiences, including one-on-one training, small group training, and the facilitation of large classroom training events.
- Continuously expand knowledge and skills in the areas of public speaking, sales training and coaching, product line, market demand, industry changes, and dealer challenges to create impactful training sessions.
- Collaborate with teammates to share best practices with the goal of delivering the content at a consistently elite level individually and as a department.
- Partner with HQ Sales training and development team to sharpen training skills, ensure training consistency, and further tailor training materials based on field and local dealer input for field use.
- 75% travel required.
- Must be currently based out of the New England area or willing to relocate.
- Minimum 5 years of retail automotive experience in sales/finance and/or 5 years of experience in a captive finance, retail automotive/insurance environment.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to stand in front of large audiences and facilitate a PowerPoint-based training presentation related to automotive retail sales and leasing.
- A high level of knowledge and experience in automotive sales, finance, and insurance.
- Understanding of captive automotive finance business, automotive buying behaviors, and dealership financial services products, services, and operations.
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent related experience
- Ability to communicate the value of products and services through dealer-facing training and adapt to different audiences.
- Strong public speaking/presentation skills via, in-person and virtual training delivery methods.
- Demonstrated leadership and consultative selling skills.
- Automotive dealership relations experience.
- Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to Toyota/Lexus/Private Labels
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Dealer Training Team Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Dealer Training Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as product and solution training resource for a broad group of Toyota/Lexus/ Private Label dealerships/affiliates and dealer associates.
This role will be reporting to the Regional Training Manager and can work and reside anywhere in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island Market with access to a major airport.
This person in this role will support the sales portfolio areas within each Region requiring an understanding of the specific criteria and metrics relevant to the portfolio and individual dealers.

The annual base salary range for this position is
