      JOB SUMMARY:
      To remove burrs, nicks and rough edges from sheet metal parts.
      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Operates a variety of power/hand tools and semiautomatic and/or standard deburr equipment to
      remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edges from sheet metal parts.
      o Perform routine hand deburring operations such as sanding, polishing, grinding and
      finishing part in accordance with accepted shop standards.
      o Selects proper machine pressure setting according to material specifications.
      o Secures, mounts, and replaces abrasive pads as required.
      o Exercises care and judgment while loading conveyer feed for proper size parts and
      machine capacity.
      • Requires close visual attention while work is in progress to prevent damage to parts or machine.
      • Responsible only for own work.
      • Performs other related duties as required.

      EDUCATION:
      Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
      EXPERIENCE:
      No experience required.
      WORKING CONDITIONS:
      Particularly disagreeable due to noise level.
