- Associate’s degree in public or business administration, social work, or related field; AND Two (2) years of responsible experience in program coordination, planning, development, and evaluation; OR Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training, or experience relevant to the position, as determined by Clatsop County.
- Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, social work, or related field.
- Bilingual Spanish and proficiency with intercultural communication, including ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.

ABOUT CLATSOP COUNTY
Today Clatsop County is one of nine Home Rule counties in Oregon. Five non-partisan elected Commissioners set policy and appoint a full-time County Manager, who is responsible for daily operations. County services are provided through ten divisions: County Administration (County Manager), Assessment and Taxation, Budget and Finance, Community Development, County Clerk, Juvenile, Public Health, Public Works, and the District Attorney, and Sheriff’s Offices. The county also administers a road district, a rural law enforcement district, and a local sewer district. The Facilities Department reports to the county administration division.
the position
Under supervision of the Community Corrections Division Lieutenant, this position is responsible for coordinating the County’s Oregon Behavioral Health Defection (BHD) Program . This includes: convening deflection program partners, managing grant program funds awarded, tracking, and reporting data as required by the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission.
