      Summary of Job Descriptions

      The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Project and Program Manager (“DEI Project/Program Manager”) is responsible for ensuring the implementation of all DEI initiatives and oversees the DEI Project Analyst, who researches and identifies best practices and development for the DEI strategic priorities and celebration events. In addition, the DEI Project and Program Manager is responsible for implementing systems for leveraging volunteer support from Support and Operations Associates, including DEI Council, Associate Resources Networks.


      You’ll get a chance to:

      • Develop, train, and oversee direct reports and other members of the team to effectively attain goals/MBOs for compliance projects, DEI initiatives, and legal operations systems.
      • Coach team members to elevate their performance in support of company goals.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders on DEI-related initiatives in support of Panda’s goals, including, development of structures for the DEI Council, the creation of Associate Resource Networks, guest speaker events, recruiting and retention strategy, etc.
      • Develop system to manage and update the annual calendar of all CSR- and DEI-related events and activities and implements through the DEI Team, including Scheduling onsite/offsite meetings and activities.
      • Manages the creation/preparation of reports and presentations for a variety of audiences, including senior leaders, quarterly newsletters, surveys, and other DEI materials.
      • Responsible for oversight of the DEI analyst to ensure of analysis of insights on peer company websites, vendors, social media, and awards to identify DEI best practices and trends and share with stakeholders, DEI Council and Associate Resource Network, as applicable
      • Responsible for sharing and strategizing how to impact of celebration events and meetings based on metrics developed.
      • Runs DEI initiatives and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events through the DEI Team, including monthly celebrations (Black History Month, PRIDE, etc.) as well as fundraisers, volunteer days, speaker series, and workshops.
      • Support in committee meetings by providing project status updates and helps create and maintain internal documentation of the events, through the DEI Team.
      • Develop and manage with DEI Analyst Panda’s Associate Resource Groups (ARGs), including but not limited to recruitment, content creation, and engagement measurement and implementation.
      • Provide DEI Team support for activities related to DEI and related stakeholders.

      Your background & experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree required
      • Minimum three years of prior relevant experience
      • Project management certification preferred
      • Experience in developing and supporting Associate Resources Networks and other DEI accountabilities with demonstrated results in the area
      • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training
      • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
      • If hired, successful completion of annual store training.
