What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and other hot or cold dishes
- Maintain adequate levels of food items and clean up after service
- Set up and prepare food lines for daily service
- Wash, peel, and slice vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for meals
- Assist the Cook in food preparation as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to multi-task
- Basic food prep knowledge and kitchen experience required
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and utensils
- Excellent personal hygiene and a well-kept appearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a food service role or related kitchen position
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
