- Work cross functionally and with customers to capture customer recurring orders and create and manage opportunities within Salesforce.com.
- Provide gap analysis for historic orders not included in customer forecasts.
- Effective project management adhering to established timelines.
- Support Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and improvements to customer forecast accuracy.
- Generate customer presentations for business review including key customer data metrics.
- Manage metrics and trends, implementing proactive actions to increase efficiencies and productivity.
- Support the timely and successful delivery of products.
- Generate monthly and quarterly firm and rolling customer forecasts based on direct discussions with planners for our core and high-volume customer accounts.
- Analyze and apply historical customer order information, customer forecast data, (as well as current open orders information) and work with customers’ buyers and purchasers to drive the customer’s purchase order horizon at least 2-3 months beyond our current lead-time.
- Develop and maintain metrics to track performance and contribution for their area, such as customer forecast accuracy.
- Minimum required education: bachelor’s degree in a business or analytical field (operations management, engineering, sciences, finance, business administration).
- MBA or master’s degree – preferred.
- Experience in a sales operations, forecasting, or similar role required.
- Experience with SIOP, demand planning, forecasting and Salesforce.com CRM in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Oracle or other ERP system.
- Solid understanding of supply chain procedures and supply management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must have confirmed experience in customer relations and problem-solving customer issues.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple facilities and reporting lines.

How will you make an impact?
The Demand Planner will be the key point of contact for the demand forecast maintained in Demantra for a given portfolio of product lines. The demand planner will leverage inputs from across its commercial partners to improve the signal across a 24-month time horizon. This role is critical to driving value across the supply chain by creating an accurate forecast as a starting point.

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $75,000 – 112,500k.
