      Job Title: Demolition Supervisor


      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Demolition Supervisor to join our specialty demolition contractor team. The successful candidate will oversee crews of 3-5 people on commercial projects, ensuring that all demolition tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

      Responsibilities

      • Supervise and lead a team of 3-5 demolition workers.
      • Perform hands-on demolition tasks including wall removal, floor cutting, and tearing up floors.
      • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
      • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
      • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
      • Manage tools, equipment, and materials required for demolition tasks.

      Essential Skills

      • 5+ years of experience in construction, demolition, or remediation.
      • 2+ years of experience leading crews.
      • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
      • Experience with asbestos removal and restoration.
      • Knowledge of commercial construction and remediation construction.
      • Ability to operate an excavator.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting.
      • Reliability is a must.

      Work Environment

      The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm. The position will be responsible for projects around Richmond, VA. If projects are located 50 miles or more outside of the Richmond, VA area, mileage reimbursement will be provided.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
