What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide chairside dental assistance and office support services in an institution dental clinic
- Maintain records, process radiographs, prepare molds and models, clean and sterilize equipment, and provide patient care instructions
- Keep current on dental assisting, dental materials, and office procedures
- Manage appointments, patient records, and inventory

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Perform dental assistant procedures including chairside assistance and expanded functions
- Knowledge of infection control practices, sterilization techniques, dental laboratory & radiology procedures, dental nomenclature, first aid procedures, and ethical standards of dental practice
- Experience in administrative tasks such as filing and using a personal computer for general communication, report preparation, and inventory control
- Obtain and maintain certification in CPR and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Experience with restorative, endodontic, prosthetic, and oral surgical procedures
