What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process monthly billing and prepare submissions to insurance companies accurately and timely
- Investigate claim denials and re-submit claims in compliance with regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to individuals and families
- Communicate effectively with front-end dental staff to achieve agency goals
- Participate in Finance Department meetings and ongoing training for personal growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of two years of dental billing/coding experience in a clinic or facility setting
- Current knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and ADA form requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Dental Billing and/or Coding certification preferred
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances
